Theories of relativity made it impossible for people to believe the strange events. The theories of Relativity referrers to two specific theories, General and Special relativity. Special Relativity says that nothing can travel between two points faster than the speed of light.General Relativity is basically the theory of gravitation introduced by Einstein.
Theory of relativity, states that objects will move slower and shorten in length from the point of view of an observer on Earth.(Theory of Relativity) E=mc2 is the famous equation, Einstein created to reveal the equivalence of mass and energy. Einstein developing Special and General relativity proved that Newton's three laws of Motion were correct by breaking down when velocities approached that of light, along with Newton's law of Gravitation breaking down when gravitation became very strong.

This is when Einstein knew for sure that his theories were correct. However Einsteins theories were not immediately accepted by other physicists, because it seemed so theoretical. This topic was so controversial to everyone around. When he received a Nobel Prize in 1921, it was only for his solution to the photoelectric effect, and for all that he has done for the contributions to Theoretical Physics.
